Training Teachers in Kenya on the Chekhov Authoring Solution

Twitt

Recently, in partnership with World Vision, Terawe CEO, Anil Balakrishnan, went to Kirindon, Kenya to deploy and train teachers on the Chekhov authoring solution for Windows 8 Surface and Windows Phones.

This trip allowed teachers (and students) to write and record a dynamic e-book which can be used by students across the region to develop their literacy skills anytime, anywhere – even when there is no literate adult available to assist them.

Content was created for the 40+ regional schools in the native Swahili language. The response from the educators was overwhelmingly positive and the success by all of the educators on the authoring solution will allow the teachers to better serve the students in the region.
